Hey Revenue Writers,

Last week I shared some concepts from (what I believe to be) the final chapter of Mini Book Flywheel: Become the Person, Brand, and Category People Remember.

I’m working through how I want this chapter to be arranged, the vibe, etc.

I’m leaning towards it being an extremely practical chapter, DO THIS, then DO THIS.

So here is the beginning of the chapter and last week I believe was part of the middle of the chapter.

This is where I talk about nailing down your core idea… which is where I think 90% of us new business owners and authors make the mistakes.

If you’ve missed the rest of the rough draft chapters, check it out by clicking the image below.

Now let’s dive into the new chapter. (1/3rd of it at least)

Building Your Business Flywheel Pt. 1

Now it’s time to build your own business flywheel.

Most people sit down with piece of paper and go “What online business do I want to build” or “What book do I want to write.” That’s ridiculous. The only way you make income or impact is by solving a problem you already know how to solve.

So you start by identifying who you actually can help.

Here is the 3 step process to actually building a flywheel and getting it to spin.

  1. Idea – Start with a clear niche, problem, and point of view.

  2. Identity – Turn that idea into a framework and capture it in a Mini Book.

  3. Impact – Spin out products, content, and systems from your book to build the business.

Idea

This first step is to identity what problems you are actually equipped to solve.

Before you start posting content, outlining your book or trying to sell anyone on anything, you need to get an idea of what your business will be. This isn’t goig to be perfect. It will be an evolving process, but if you do this right you’ll have a strong foundation to start from.

This will prevent you from feeling like you are throwing spagetti at the wall to see what sticks.

There are 3 elements that make up your business flywheel idea.
