The First Smart Book (And Why It Had to Exist)

Hey Revenue Writers,

Over a year ago someone messaged me on LinkedIn, “The book I want to read is how you built IA Path.”

I told him, “I’m not doing a memoir or anything like that.”

He responded, “No I mean, what worked, how you did it.”

So when I sat down to write Mini Book Flywheel, the 6th book in the Mini Book Revenue series, the book that represented the body and brand of the revenue vehicle, I decided to do both.

I reviewed what had worked at IA Path, how I’d turned my super niche company that helped “new independent insurance adjusters” (person) stop playing the “adjuster lottery” (problem) by starting their careers “in auto” (POV), and spent time to understand why I thought it had worked. I wanted to share how my strategy had helped make us the default and premium choice in my market.

I wanted to help others be able to build a niche business into a multi-six figured business. (IA Path is at $700k/yr with a small team of contractors helping me)

That book, Mini Book Flywheel: How to Design a Category That Makes Your Business Unforgettable, is finally available on Amazon.

If you read the rough draft chapters here over the last few months it has been overhauled since then with the help of an editor. Not just grammar and edits, but some big thinking pieces where I’d fallen short. We worked for over a month to make it a cohesive book worth your time.

But that isn’t even the most exciting part for me.

The World’s First Smart Book

Yesterday I wrote a video commercial script for Mini Book Flywheel - Smart Book Edition, that turned more into a manifesto for the new category or Smart Books.
(don’t worry the following script will explain it)

“When I wrote Mini Book Flywheel and I didn’t want people to read it.

Books shouldn’t end with “The End.”
They should end with “Do this now” and “Done”.

Stop reading. Start doing.
