Hey Revenue Writers,
As I approach the launch of my next book, Mini Book Money: How to Turn 10,000 Words Into $10,000+ on September 8th, I’m looking forward at the following book, Mini Book Flywheel: How to Become the Person, Brand, and Category People Remember.
Why?
Because for my business model, for my “flywheel”, I put up my next book for pre-order as the new one launches.
That way any marketing spend, effort I put in, the next book also gets some benefit.
I’ve been spinning (pun intented) on Mini Book Flywheel for months.
Trying to land on a name.
Worrying I didn’t have something new to say.
Debating internally, with my wife, and ChatGPT about what makes a brand.
Because this book is my POV on Stage 5 of the Mini Book Revenue Machine… the body of the machine. The part people remember about you… that is your brand.
But I wanted the book to be about how to create a brand.
Not with colors
Not with logos
Not with websites
But how I’ve created brands myself.
So I had to look at what I did with IA Path and now what I’m doing with Mini Books.
Finally I realized… “I freaking use a flywheel approach to building a brand… Mini Book Flywheel! Thats the name.”
I got super excited then crashed into a wall… how do I explain how to build your own flywheel?
So for two weeks I’ve been outlining, arguing, trashing outlines… but I finally landed on it. I had some key breakthroughs and insights and I’m ready to share with you what I’ve done.
Obviously all subject to change but wanted to share with you my paying members what I’m about to write. As I complete each chapter it’ll be available for premium members here.
Revenue Writers this is the next playbook and its more transformative, a bigger shift, than anything I’ve ever written.
I’m FREAKING jazzed.
Some more insider information…
I used the W’s outline. You’ll see after each title I added what W it was in parentheses.
Mini Book Flywheel Chapter Outline
Intro: The Credibility Crisis
Every new writer, brand, business, and category starts in doubt. You’re good, but the market doesn’t believe you yet. This book names that problem and shows why you must build belief.
Chapter 1: Funnel Failure (Why Funnels Fail)
Funnels are old-world tools built for extraction, not belief. This chapter explains why they exhaust creators, cheapen brands, and leave you stuck in the credibility crisis.
Chapter 2: The Flywheel: Belief in Motion (What is a Flywheel)
Unlike funnels, flywheels are imperfect but compounding. Here you’ll learn how belief builds through repetition, orbit time, and messy-but-powerful momentum.
Chapter 3: Revenue Writers: 3 Types Who Need a Flywheel (Who)
Category Designers, Experts in the Credibility Crisis, and Conscientious Objectors, this chapter shows why Revenue Writers, the people who want to “write their way to wealth” can’t rely on funnels and need flywheels instead.
Chapter 4: The 7 Layers of Legendary Brands (Where Brands are Built)
Logos don’t make a brand.
Belief does. This chapter breaks down the true ingredients of a brand people remember… things like… nah I’ll make you wait for that :-)
Chapter 5: The 3 Phases of a Flywheel (When Will the Flywheel Start Working)
Every flywheel passes through three stages: (hidden names of phases) This chapter shows what to do and what not to do, in each.
Chapter 6: The Flywheel Factory (How)
Your book is the core, but Smart Publishing turns it into a system. This is how to build your own flywheel and how to make it effortless.
So let me know are you excited for this book? Let me know in the comments!
I’ll be releasing it here for premium subscribers as I write it.
Free subscribers will get weekly newsletter with some concepts in it, but the full thing will only be available to premium suscribers.
Can’t wait to share it with you all.
Chris Stanley
The timing with your launch strategy is smart too - using each book launch to build momentum for the next one. Very flywheel of you.
This might just be you're most powerful concept yet!
